What are your hours of operation?

Our clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. We are open on most holidays, but check our Facebook page for any holiday closures.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, we do not take appointments. As a walk-in clinic, we provide care on a first-come, first served basis. Wait times can vary throughout the day. Our goal is to treat patients as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Where are you located?

Orthopedic Urgent Care has locations in Lafayette and Scott to better serve our patients. Our Lafayette clinic is located in the Ambassador Crossing shopping center next to Chipotle at 4231 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy., Suite 102, Lafayette, LA 70508. Our Scott clinic is located at 6331 Cameron St., Suite 102, Scott, LA 70583.

What types of injuries do you treat?

We treat all types of orthopedic injuries and ailments. Any fracture, strained muscle, torn ligament or other traumatic musculoskeletal injury, as well as “flare-ups” of chronic conditions, may warrant urgent care services. Some of the common injuries we treat include:

  • Wrist, finger and hand sprains and fractures
  • Foot and ankle sprains and fractures
  • Shoulder injuries, including clavicle fractures and rotator cuff
  • Knee injuries, including ACL injuries, sprains, meniscus tears
  • Leg or hip injuries
  • Sudden joint pain and/or swelling
  • Back or neck (spine) pain and sciatica
  • “Flare-up” of an old condition
  • Simple lacerations
  • Problems with a solid cast (pain, numbness or swelling)

When should I go to the hospital emergency room instead?

Certain injuries require the attention of a hospital’s emergency room staff.  Those injuries would include:

  • Compound (Open) fractures with exposed bone
  • Traumatic injuries with severe blood loss and visible bone deformity
  • Serious automobile accidents
  • Deep cuts or lacerations with vascular injury
  • Crushed limb(s)

What should I bring with me?

Please have your insurance card (if applicable) along with one form of identification (valid driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.).  If you are under the age of 18, please bring a parent or guardian with you.
